Abstract

SUMMARY Thirty cases of bone infection, 27 in dogs and 3 in cats, confirmed by either microbiologic or histologic examination, were reviewed for the presence of predetermined radiographic signs. The predominant radiographic signs were soft tissue swelling, irregular periosteal reactions, cortical lysis, and increased medullary density.
