Activity of elected flavonoids in EMC virus and Staphylococcus aureus infected mice were investigated, to determine the influence on mortality rate. Some of the flavonoids: quercetin, hypoletin, hesperidin, rutin and quercitrin showed significant protective effect given before single as well as combined viral-bacterial infections.
