Abstract

SummaryThe capillary tube precipitin test to identify mosquito blood-meals has been modified by use of antisera produced in chickens, and by transporting the frozen abdomens of engorged mosquitoes to the testing laboratory in gelatin capsules. These reagents and techniques increase the rapidity and accuracy of identification of mosquito blood-meals.
