Impact of renal sympathetic denervation on cardiac sympathetic nerve activity evaluated by cardiac MIBG imaging

Abstract

Selective RASD significantly reduces cardiac sympathetic overdrive assessed by 123I-MIBG scintigraphy. Presumably, this positively affects HF progression in patients with resistant arterial hypertension.
