This paper deals with 35 cases of grass sickness. In every case, changes were observed in autonomic ganglia, certain brain-stem nuclei and the intermedio-lateral nucleus of the spinal cord. Ganglionic lesions were found to be more extensive and severe in acute and sub-acute cases than in chronic cases. The possible association between the neuronal lesion and the alimentary signs is discussed.
