Abstract

Sympathetic hyperactivity was associated with the composite of all-cause mortality and nonfatal cardiovascular events in CKD patients, despite treatment with ACEi or ARB. Further studies to investigate potential effects of additional sympatholytic therapy in these patients are warrented.
