SUMMARY Toxoplasmosis in 2 horses appeared as an afebrile condition with accompanying hindlimb incoordination which, over a period of weeks, worsened and progressed to involve the forelimbs as well. Multifocal myelomalacia due to Toxoplasma infection was diagnosed from postmortem examination in both cases.
