Abstract

1. The seminal plasma of the domestic cock has been shown to contain a very active acid phos- phatase(s); the enzyme is especially active against 4-nitrophenyl phosphate, and less so against the 2and 1-phosphate of glycerol. It shows two broad activity peaks about pH 4*9 and pH 5-2.
