Hypersensitivity Following Excimer Laser Ablation Through the Corneal Epithelium

Abstract

These results show the development of a lasting enhanced sensitivity in the cornea after excimer laser ablation, suggesting the need to conduct further studies of neural plasticity and sensory thresholds following interventions on the corneal surface.
