Abstract

The surgical technique of enucleation followed by an "on-the-table" evisceration and autologous sclera wrapping a hydroxyapatite implant is an easy procedure. It allows, on phthisis eyeballs, the placement of a large orbital implant for good cosmesis results, without major complications.
