Median nerve impairment occurs even in asymptomatic pregnant women. The electrophysiological characteristics of this impairment are defined and the pathophysiology of PRCTS is discussed. Electrophysiological evaluation is a tolerable and feasible technique for the early diagnosis of PRCTS.
