Palliation for extrahepatic biliary obstruction by metastatic colorectal carcinoma.

Abstract

The occurrence of obstructive jaundice in patients with metastatic colorectal carcinoma deserves routine investigation to exclude extrahepatic biliary obstruction. Endoprosthesis insertion by nonoperative means should be considered for palliation.
