Flow of Ground Water to Collector Wells

Abstract

Analytical solutions for drawdown distribution around collector wells steadily discharging from homogeneous confined and unconfined aquifers of uniform hydraulic properties; equations based on 3 dimensional analysis for yield of collector wells located near, or under, stream channels; drawdown distributions around collector wells of symmetrically located laterals in relatively thick aquifer are graphically illustrated.
