IEC 61850 adopts the network-independent abstract communication service interface (ACSI) to define multilayer nested model abstract data structure. The specific communication service mapping (SCSM) specifies the specification mapping from ACSI to manufacturer message specification (MMS). MMS defines two-layer data structure system, from the view of exterior, domain, NamedVariable or NamedVariable list. The map between IEC 61850 and MMS is not one-to-one. Based on analyzing these contradictions in detail, corresponding resolving scheme is proposed.
