Nutrition condition of the orchards in the main production areas of Guanxi honey pomelo trees (Pinhe County)

Abstract

The mass fractions of the mineral nutrient elements in leaves and soils of 200 orchards in the main production areas of Guanxi honey pomelo trees (Pinhe County) were analysed. The results were as follows: the mass fractions of the mineral nutrient elements in a part of the orchard plants were out of balance, especially the mass fractions of some trace elements such as B, Cu, Fe in the plants were higher; in the soils of most orchards, the problems such as stronger acidity, higher mass fractions of readily available P, lower mass fractions of exchangeable base (Ca, Mg, K) and lower mass fractions of available trace elements were found. The suggestions of fertilize application based on above mineral nutrient problems existing in the orchards of the main production areas were also proposed.
