The Calculation of Knowledge Granulation and Its Application

Abstract

Rough sets theory is a relatively new soft computing tool to deal with vagueness and uncertainty.In this paper, we introduce the concept of knowledge granulation, the importance and the consistency of attribute and their computational methods. Also, we give concrete steps through which the least reduction of attribute-set is got using its importance and decision-making tree by its consistency. Finally, their validity is shown through a few examples. .
