Analysis of Hunan Power Grid Ice Disaster Accident in 2008

Abstract

The ice disaster process of Hunan power grid in 2008 is introduced in detail.The statistical analysis of the losses of transforming and transmission equipments is implemented.And the reasons for line tower collapsing and electric equipment flashover are analyzed.At last,some suggestions are presented,such as optimizing power grid structure,establishing strategic safeguard channel,enhancing anti-ice flashover ability,and improving the anti-disaster ability by technical development et al.
