THE ACCUMULATION OF Cd~(2+) AND THE EFFECT ON EST IN FIVE TISSUES AND ORGANS OF ERIOCHEIR SINENSIS

Abstract

This paper dealed with accumulation of Cd 2+ in Eriocheir sinensis,at the same time,the effect of Cd 2+ on the EST has been was studied.The results indicated that Cd 2+ was accumulated selectively by the major organs and tissues.Among them,Cd 2+ was accumulated strongly in the hepatopancreas,followed by the gill and antenna gland,but Cd 2+ was not nearly found to be accumulated in the ovary and muscle.The bioaccumulation of Cd 2+ was improved with increasing the injection dosage of Cd 2+.The effects of Cd 2+ on EST of the major organs and tissues are closely relation to the bioaccumulation of Cd 2+,which showed the organisms stress.That was namely lower dosage Cd 2+ may induce EST and improve its enzyme activity.The quantity of Cd 2+ that induced EST had a certain range.The effect of Cd 2+ on EST varied with tissues and organs.
