The set pair analysis is used to solve the uncertainty problem in water safety system,and a water safety evaluation method is proposed.The method can not only reflect the trend of regional water safety,but also avoid calculating the weights.The application of the method to practical cases and the comparison of the calculated results with those obtained from the function curve evaluation model show that the set pair analysis is simple and applicable,and can be used for evaluation of regional water safety.
