This paper introduced the main components and features of power system analysis software package(PSASP) Dynamic Security Assessment Early Warning System of Power System (PDSA). PDSA provides a complete toolset of on-line dynamic security assessment for large-scale power system, based on parallel simulation platform. The base data of PDSA is combined data from different energy management systems (EMSs), phasor measurement units (PMUs) and off-line calculations. By integrating algorithms from the PSASP calculation, PDSA can perform on-line assessments of transient stability, small signal stability and voltage stability, to promote dynamic security of power system. The PDSA has been applied to state grid, regional grids and provincial grids of China.
