In order to deal with various uncertain factors in the operation of microgrids,a dynamic economic dispatch model based on chance constrained programming is proposed. In this model, the probability constraint concerning the microgrid reliability was appended, which constrained the spinning reserve above a given confidence level to meet the system requirement;and the objective function minimizes the actual operation costs of microgrids on the base of it is above a given confidence level. To solve the model, uncertain factors such as power fluctuations of renewable energy, load fluctuations and unit outage for failure were simulated;and the genetic algorithm based on Monte Carlo simulation was selected.Examples analyze the balance between reliability and economics in the operation of microgrids and discuss the effects of various uncertain factors on the dispatch results, which prove the validity of the proposed model and algorithm.
