Using the network analysis and buffer methods of GIS,This paper analyzes the spatial differentiation and social equity of the service ability of public parks in Guangzhou.The study results indicate that the service ability of the public parks is diverse and comparatively low.The parks are mostly distributed in old district and rarely distributed in Tianhe,Baiyun,Huangpu and Haizhu districts.It finds that the higher social and economic status the residents have,the higher service ability the parks have.Then it suggest updating the evaluation indicator system and method,improving the accessibility of parks,establishing united statistics and management system and enhancing the efficiency and justice of green space supply.
