Development of Support Technology Beside Roadway in Goaf-Side Entry Retaining for Next Sublevel

Abstract

The developing history of support technology beside roadway are summarized. A new technique of backfilling the goaf-side entry retaining for next sublevel is put forward. And the falling and breaking characteristic of roof in goaf-side entry retaining for next sublevel is analyzed. The mechanical model is also established to carry out the backfilling beside the roadway in goaf-side entry retaining for next sublevel by using the paste backfilling material. Finally, the determination method for main parameters of support beside roadway is posed and the research results are applied to the engineering practice.
