Fracture mechanical model of main roof along inclined for fully-mechanized top-coal caving in steep and extra-thick coal seam

Abstract

Studied the main roof broken character in steep and extra-thick coal seam with horizontally sectioned fully-mechanized top-coal caving,the fracture cantilever model of main roof was established.The cantilever energy formula of main roof was obtained by using fracture mechanics.At last,advanced the burst prevention way of rock burst and arrived success in Huating mine.
