Dexmedetomidine versus midazolam as adjuvants to intrathecal bupivacaine: A clinical comparison

Abstract

Intrathecal dexmedetomidine was better adjuvant than midazolam as it produces significantly longer duration of sensory block, reduced doses of postoperative analgesic agents with comparable side-effects.
