The process of spontaneous combustion of coal was simulated with adiabatic oxidation, activation energy of change curves with per ten temperature rising and the rule that activation energy decrease with temperature rise were obtained. Based on testing result analysis, the self-activation theory of coal spontaneous combustion was proposed that function group was easier activated at higher temperature and with lower energy. Zero-activation energy, initially activation energy and temperature of zero-activation energy were defined. Zero-activation and temperature of zero-activation is a critical value from passivity oxidation to self-activation. And had a conclusion about equations between initially-activation energy and zero-activation energy temperature with R follow from the results.
