Screening for Adverse Childhood Experiences in a Family Medicine Setting: A Feasibility Study

Abstract

Incorporation of ACE screening during routine care is feasible and merits further study. ACE screening offers clinicians a more complete picture of important social determinants of health. Primary care-specific interventions that incorporate treatment of early life trauma are needed.
