Research on Compatibility of Fuzzy Judgement Matrices

Abstract

Fuzzy judgement matrix is the important preference information provided by a decision-maker. Based on the complementary characteristics of fuzzy judgement matrix, a new compatibility index is proposed in this paper. This index is simple and easy to calculate. The relations between compatibility and consistency of fuzzy judgement matrices are also studied. A criterion of satisfactory compatibility is given. Finally, an example shows effectiveness of this index.
