Analyzes the characteristic of the high-voltage corona in high-voltage power transformer system and introduces several coronas detection methods According to the high-voltage corona spectrum characteristic proposes using 240-280 wave band ultraviolet double spectrum and the digital image processing method to realize the corona detection and the localization and gives the functional block diagram.
