Serum myostatin in central south Chinese postmenopausal women: Relationship with body composition, lipids and bone mineral density

Abstract

Our data indicated that serum myostatin concentration did not correlate with muscle and bone mass. Further studies are needed to demonstrate the role of myostatin in regulating the bone metabolism.
