Beers versus STOPP criteria in polyharmacy community-dwelling older patients.

Abstract

Our study identified a high frequency of PIP in polymedicated community-dwelling older patients. Simultaneous application of Beers and STOPP criteria represents a useful tool to improve prescribing in this population group.
