BackgroundThepurposeofthisworkwastodeterminethecorrelationbetweenindicesofthegeneralandsport-specificprep- arationwiththeage-somaticparametersofelitefemalejudocompetitorsduringthepreparationtothecompeti- tiveperiod. �:� Elevenseniorfemalejudocompetitors�-�membersoftheOlympicandNationalTeamsinjudoparticipatedinthe� study.�Theiraverageagewas�25.2±3.7�years,�andathleticexperience�-�14.2±4.0�years.�Todeterminethesomatic� features�-�bodyheight,�bodymassindex�(BMI)�andbodycomponents:�FAT kg ,�FAT % ,�FFM kg ,�FFM % ,�TBW kg ,�TBW % � -�theBodyCompositionAnalyserwasused.�Toassesssport-specificpreparationthestandardIPFTtestwasused.� Thelevelofsport-specificpreparationofathleteswasassessedbySterkowicz'stest�(SJFT). � Results:� Thefemalejudocompetitorswhohavelowerbodyweight,�smallervaluesofBMI,�absoluteandpercentagevalues� ofthefattycomponent,�theabsoluteindicesoffat-freeandaliquidcomponentofbodymass,�butahigherper- centageofthelattertwocomponents,�performbetterinallIPFTrunningtests.�OftheIPFTpowerperformance� testonlythe�maximumamountofthetrunkslopesfromthesupinepositionfor�30�s�indexshowedastatisti- callysignificantcorrelationwithbodylengthofthefemalejudocompetitors,�aswellaswiththecontentoffatin� theirbodymass.�Inthiscase,�femaleathleteswhohadasmallerbodylengthandlowerabsolutecontentofthe� fat-freecomponentinitshowedthebestresults.�Theathleteswhohadasmallerbodylengthaswellaslowerab- solutecontentfatandliquidcomponentsinthebodydemonstratedahigherlevelofsport-specificpreparationin� theSJFTtest. � Conclusions:� Thepresenteddataareconsideredfromthestandpointoftheirsignificanceandprospectsoftheiruseinfuture� studiesrelatedtotheproblemofimprovingtheeffectivenessofthetrainingprocessofthefemalejudocompeti- torsatdifferentstagesoflong-termpreparation.
