Abstract

This study demonstrated that childhood abuse, particularly neglect, indirectly worsened the well-being of individuals through cyclothymic, anxious, and irritable affective temperaments. An important "mediator" role of affective temperaments in the effect of childhood abuse on well-being was suggested.
