Parental Evaluation of a Nurse Practitioner-Developed Pediatric Neurosurgery Website

Abstract

Parents perceive the NKF website to be useful and easy-to-use in meeting their health information needs, finding social support, and learning about resources relevant to their child. A custom-designed website can be used to augment parents' health information needs by reinforcing, supplementing, and improving their understanding of their child's medical needs.
