Due to uniqueness of Lawsonia inermis leaf property in curing different ailments this part was selected for the study. Hence the present investigation was carried out to determine the possible chemical components from Lawsonia inermis leaves by GC-MS. This analysis revealed that Lawsonia inermis leaves contain mainly a-D- Glucopyranoside, methyl (51.73%) and 1,4-Naphthalenedione, 2-hydroxy- (Synonyms: Henna) (19.19%), which were used in curing skin ailments caused due to Environmental Pollution of Air and Water.
