This paper presents a novel design and an application of an adaptive neuro-fuzzy controller technique with a linearized induction motor control scheme for the better dynamic performance of induction motor drive control. The linear decoupling of rotor flux and torque of induction motor is carried out by modelling and simulating the induction motor in stationary reference frame with feedback controller having input-output dynamic behavior of a linear system by exact state transformation. As the induction motors are described by profoundly complex and time-varying dynamics like parameter variation, external perturbation and load changes, a adapted control technique based on Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) based controller is proposed which is an integrated approach and it yields optimal results by selecting proper rule base unlike fuzzy logic control technique. The performance of the proposed control method is simulated in MATLAB environment and is compared with the conventional PI controller to analyze the better performance of induction motor.
