Prognostic value of longitudinal strain of subepicardial myocardium in patients with hypertension

Abstract

EpiLS was the only independent prognostic factor in regularly-treated hypertensive patients. Our results indicated that involvement of subepicardial myocardium may infer worse prognosis of hypertensive heart disease.
