Abstract

Apparent diffusion coefficient could be used as an imaging biomarker for the diagnosis of breast cancer. It seems to be a valuable noninvasive quantitative biomarker to assess breast cancer invasiveness. Thus, ADC measurements provide the potential to reduce overdiagnosis and subsequent overtreatment.
