The paper describes m ea suremen ts made on t he resistan ce-temperature relation and t he t hermoelectric properties of several samples of uranium. The resistance-temperature relation showed sharp breaks at abou t 650 0 a nd 770 0 C, indicat ing t he existen ce of t ransformat ion poin ts. The ve ry rapid change in resistance occurred at a somewhat higher temperature on hea ting t han on cooling. Only slight irregularit ie in t he therm oelectri c proper ties were noted in t he region of the t ransformation p oin ts.
