Abstract

Abstract A variety of hydroxy amino acids were prepared by a brief treatment of a resulting mixture, which was obtained by a base-catalyzed condensation reaction of N-pyruvylideneglycinatoaquocopper(II) with aldehydes, on a column of Amberlite IR-120B (H form) resin.
