Abstract

Delayed hypersensitivity and circulating antibody production to a hapten (picryl chloride) and to a protein antigen (bovine gamma globulin) were regularly suppressed in mature guinea pigs injected twice into mesenteric veins prior to sensitization, with hapten or protein in gamma amounts.
