Tumor Cell Procoagulant and Urokinase Expression in Carcinoma of the Ovary

Abstract

In ovarian carcinoma the procoagulant pathway may contribute to tumor progression. Clinical trials of therapeutic drugs capable of limiting local coagulability (anticoagulants, protease inhibitors) are indicated in this tumor type.
