Pulmonary hypertension after pneumonectomy for lung cancer

Abstract

Pulmonary hypertension may occur after pneumonectomy with its known adverse effects. Patients with late postoperative pulmonary artery systolic pressure > 35.5 mm Hg are at higher risk of a suboptimal clinical outcome.
