A new hornet-kinin, "Vespakinin-M", was isolated from the venom of Vespa mandarinia which contained hydroxyprolyl residue in the sequence. The amount of the peptide in one venom sac was approximately 15 nmole which was much higher in concentration than other wasp venom.
