In situ Supported Nanoscale Ru<sub><i>x</i></sub>Ti<sub>1−<i>x</i></sub>O<sub>2</sub> on Anatase TiO<sub>2</sub> with Improved Electroactivity

Electrocatalytic coatings with a novel supported structure of active nanoscale rutile RuxTi1−xO2 particles (3 nm) onto in situ formed anatase TiO2 (20 nm) were achieved by a facile sol−gel/solvothermal route. They exhibit significantly enhanced catalytic activity for electrochemical evolution of chlorine.
