Abstract

SummaryWhen strawberry meristems were cultured by the method described, twenty out of twenty-seven grew into plants. When shootlets arising from the basal callus were subcultured, seventeen rooted plants were obtained from four meristems. Growth at 25 °C was better than at 18 °C.
