With the inauguration of a program for the control of infectious sinusitis (IS) in Minnesota, it became evident that Mycoplasma sp. other than Mycoplasma gallisepticum were also important in turkeys. A routine feature of the control program is the submission for laboratory examination of all turkeys reacting to serological tests for M. gallisepticum as well as turkeys manifesting clinical sinusitis. Many Mycoplasma have been isolated from the birds submitted. Upon further investigation a large number of the Mycoplasma isolates from air-sac lesions and sinus exudates have been found to be of
