Application of the Video Head Impulse Test to Detect Vertical Semicircular Canal Dysfunction

Abstract

vHIT detects peripheral deficits of both vertical and horizontal semicircular canal function and is a new tool for measuring dysfunction of individual semicircular canals in vestibular patients.
