Three-dimensional Navier-Stokes solutions obtained using the OVERFLOW code for a 747PD high lift configuration are presented. The chimera grid methodology used in generating the 747PD grid system is described. Convergence characteristics of OVERFLOW for high lift flow analysis are also discussed. Computational solutions agree reasonably well with test data near the approach flight conditions. Performance trends due to changes in geometry components near the stall region are captured, but lift increments are not well predicted.
