TENAX® GC, a new porous polymer based on 2,6-diphenyl-paraphenylene oxide exhibits attractive separation properties. In the normal temperature range (50–250°C) separations are comparable with those on the crosslinked polystyrene porous polymers but can be extended up to temperatures of 400–450° C.
